The Chief of Gomoa Mangoase in the Central Region, Ogyefo Nana Amoakoh II has appealed to indigenes of the town, both home and abroad to contribute their widow’s mite to the development of the town.
Speaking to our reporter at his palace, the Chief said the town lacks many amenities, including public place of convenience and a social centre.
He hinted that already, the town has been able to construct a community center through communal labour with some financial support through contributions from benevolent individuals.
But this, Nana Amoakoh said is not enough and has therefore appealed to people from the town living outside to come and support the development of the town.
