PIWC Mountain View inaugurated with call for community impact, evangelism

The Kasoa Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle James Kwabena Asare, has inaugurated the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) Mountain View urging church leaders to ensure the new center becomes a beacon of impact, excellence, and evangelistic fervor within the community.

Formerly known as the Mountain View Worship Center, the newly elevated PIWC is expected to align with the hallmark standards of the PIWC brand, often associated with attracting professionals and the elite in society.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held in Accra, Apostle Asare emphasized the importance of positioning the church to reflect spiritual excellence and social relevance.

“The PIWC must have very good protocol, music, security, a beautiful environment, and a higher level of faith among members. When we begin to position ourselves in that dimension, we are creating an ever-growing class,” he stated.

In attendance was the Member of Parliament for Ngleshie Amanfrom, Felix Amartey, who lauded the church leadership for their vision and commitment. He described the inauguration as a milestone of faith, unity, perseverance, and sacrifice.

“Your success is a beacon of hope for our entire community. It reminds us that with faith and purpose, we can overcome challenges and rise to greater heights. I encourage the church to continue being a moral light not only to the congregation but to the entire constituency,” the MP said.

He also took the opportunity to thank the church for its spiritual support, which he credited as instrumental in his victory during the 2024 general elections.

Rev. Isaac Ayisi-Kumi, a former Resident Pastor of the center, expressed deep gratitude and joy over the transformation. He shared how God had revealed the PIWC status of the church to his family even before their assignment there.

“We were like a Macedonian church—we didn’t have any wealthy members—but people gave sacrificially. Today is the fulfillment of a vision and a dream we held on to. We give all glory to God,” he said.
