The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Agona East constituency, Hon Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr (Mrs.) has cut sod for the construction of toilet projects in three (3) other communities after she commissioned one at Agona Abosimasi.
The other three communities whose project will soon take off include Akrabong, Fante Bawjiase and Mansafo.
The MP at a colourful ceremony emphasised her commitment to further develop the constituency with her three priority areas being the construction of school buildings, community centres and community toilets as her main focus.
According to her the decision to construct toilet facilities in the various communities in her constituency was taken after a cholera outbreak during the raining season.
The chiefs, elders and the entire members of the communities could not hide their joy and openly showered praises on Queenstar as they asked for more projects and God’s blessings for her.
They promised to put the facility to good use so as derive the benefits that come with it.
