Rockcare Company Limited with their product Alkamin Mineral Water have agreed to partner Ghana Footvolley Association
The reputable company located in Ghana has agreed to seal a 10 years deal with Ghana Footvolley Association (GFVA).
The national executives and some regional coordinators of the Association met at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 3:30pm to discuss the partnership and the activities of the Association this year.
The president Mustapha Mohammed said in the meeting that, the ten (10) years partnership will ensure the sport be popularized, publicized and also empowered, promoted and pursue sports for development agenda in Ghana through the Clean Beach Ghana Foundation (CBGF) powered by Ghana Footvolley Association.
He further stated that the partnership will promote the economic, social and health of all citizens as it will encourage the youth to be physically active and sanitize them to keep their beaches and surrounding clean because the beach is one of the biggest gift from God and as a country we need to make good use of it to promote tourism.
“In our three seconds to three years agenda which we consider as a roadmap for footvolley growth and development in Ghana and beyond, some activities will be organised this year” he said.
Some of the programmes line up are:
1. Homowo Footvolley Exhibition 2019 at Laboma beach resort in the Greater Accra region
2. Footvolley Coaching and officiating course from 6th-8th September, 2019 at the National Sports College at Winneba
3. Hogbetsotso Footvolley Tournament on1st November, 2019 at Keta in the Volta region.
“Our partnership with RockCare Company Limited with their product Alkamin Mineral Water would promote Ghana Footvolley Tournaments,Workshops and other Footvolley seminars. We are very optimistic that the partnership will go a long way to promote both organisations (RockCare Company Limited and Ghana Footvolley Association) and finally pave way for the sport inclusion in 13th AFRICA GAMES in 2023 host by Ghana.
The meeting was well attended and representation by the national executives and regional coordinators.
Some of the personalities at the meeting were Mustapha Mohammed, Ishmael Tetteh Yusif, Samira Mensah, Salis, Nana Tekyi, Innocent, Madam Blessing , Ebenezer, Thomas Dua, Evans, Ali Yusif, Ishaq Nurudeen, Ernest Deng andToufic.
The Ghana Footvolleyball Associaion has applied to join the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
