In a letter signed by Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mumin and addressed to the Regional Coordinating Director, he pointed out that their estimation of both Health workers and facilities ratio to the public call for a back-up support in the event of mass infections, hence there is the need for volunteer groups which will help augment efforts of health workers on ground.

According to Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mumin, “We want to pledge our support to complement the efforts of stakeholders in arresting the situation. We shall be available for any critical role including the management of stigma, attending to victims and providing any support deem important for the control and management of the coronavirus pandemic.”
