The Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East, Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr has congratulated the newly elected executives of the NDC in the constituency and challenged them to work as a united front towards recapturing power in 2020.
The MP made the call when she joined the newly elected constituency executives for a thanksgiving service for a successful election in the constituency.
The atmosphere at the Asemblies of God Church where the service was held was lit with NDC colours amid praises and worship.
Pokuah Sawyerr expressed great joy to note that the ‘Team Queenstar’ had swept all the positions in Agona East.
“The margins were crazy; 16 against 400 plus and above. Our God is Good always,” she said in excitement.
There was a get together after the thanksgiving service where the executives were treated to good cocktail refreshment.
