Swedruman Council Of Chiefs Place Ban On Noisemaking

The Swedruman Council of Chiefs has place a two weeks ban on Noise making at all public places in the town, with effect from August 9, in celebration of the Homecoming Festival of the town.

Those mostly affected includes religious organizations such as Christians and Moslems, drinking bars and pubs, as well as other social events such as weddings, outdooring, naming ceremonies, graduations, among others.

The Oguamanpanyin Ebusuapanyin Nana Kuatu who announced this at the launch of the Homecoming Festival celebration appealed to all and sundry to abide by the directive, or face sanctions from the traditional authorities.

Some of the events earmarked for the celebration include Health Walk, Procession of traditional rulers in the town, Durbar, Marathon race, Awards presentation and Thanksgiving.
