The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda Constituency in the Eastern Region Hon William Agyapong Quaittoo, has donated an amount of fifty one thousand Ghana Cedis to St. Luke Methodist Youth Fellowship.
The MP made the donation during the said church’s Youth Fellowship’s 40th Anniversary Celebration in the Oda Diocese under the theme “40 Years of God’s Glory Towards Disciple Making”.
GHc5,000 was distributed to the coffex of The Youth Foundation and GHc1,000 to The Youth Ministry.
Addressing the youths in the Constituency, he urged them to take advantage of the numerous policies the President of the Republic; H.E Nana Akufo Addo has initiated such as NABCO, Planting for Food and Jobs, Tertiary Education Scholarship, amongst others.
Hon William Agyapong Quaittoo tasked them to take their education serious and upgrade themselves so they could achieve their goals.
Meanwhile, Prince Osei Gyamfi on behalf of the executives of the St.Luke Methodist Youth Fellowship expressed his profound gratitude to the Honourable Member of Parliament for his kind gesture to the church and he pray that the Lord grant him his heart desires.
