The Divisional Commander of the Salvation Army Church in charge of Central Region Major Stephen Boadu, the Central Regional Public Relations Officer of the Church Lieutenant Noah Afful, the Gomoa Manso branch minister of the Musama disco Christo Church Rev Isaac Anktell-Be3mtil as well as ell as the Agona Swedru branch minister of the Musama Disco Christo Church Rev. John Kwame Benyi Eshun have vowed that the church will resist any attempt by any person or group of people who will advocate for the passage of homosexuality practice into law in the country.
According to them, the issue which has become a subject matter since the interview with the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo by Aljazeera could open flood-gate for people engaged in the illicit practice to advocate for its passage into law.
According to him, the practice is an abomination in the sight of God and an unacceptable practice in African society and affront to African cultural practices and norms.
They therefore expressed regret why some human beings will engage in such a practice that even animals abhor, and has therefore called on all religious sects to wake up and speak against it before it gains roots in the country.
