Mr. Robert Obodai Sai, Projects Director of Ederick Ltd sole distributors of Whirlpool electrical appliances in Ghana has disclosed to the media why his company is supporting the 2018 Big Millennium Marathon which comes off in Accra on September 22 at the spacious Independence Square.
After participating in the 10 km Pre Millennium Marathon which was graced and won by top Kenyan athlete, Samuel Mungara at Nima, the Whirlpool director interacted with the press present and introduced his company as well hinted them on their functions.
According to Obodai Sai, they represent Whirlpool. The world acclaimed producers of quality air conditioners, washing machines, fridges and freezers manufactured in Italy and Turkey.
He said they know and supply the best electrical appliances such as microwaves, fitted kitchen complete with a refrigerator, 4 burner gas cooker with oven and grill and an extractor hood, Philips television sets and others. “We are the EDK quality brand, Manufacturer’s representative in GH for Whirlpool, we represent CandyHoover, Glemgas, Taurus & EDK brands of home appliances & Philips electronics.” he said.
He advised the general public to go for quality products that can last for some time.
“We represent a quality international brand, and that is what we saw in the Millennium Marathon and decided to be part as a sponsor, the event has international flavor like our brands and we have seen the quality of organization and media presentations, so we are very proud to be associated with sports and the Millennium Marathon” he expressed.
He added that they have special packages for institutions whose workers want to buy on hire purchase and they provide quality services in repairs.
The Big Millennium Marathon is sponsored by companies like Unilever, Twellium, Japan Motors, Garmin, Wigal, Papaye, Alliance Insurance, ddp, Blue Skies, Can -West, Royal Habits and Accra Mall.
The event is also supported by the Ministry of Youth & Sports, Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Health.
