Women Warned Against Fake Pastors

The Associate minister of the Christ Church Int. Mission at Agona Swedru, Rev. Gloria Danful has warned women to desist from the habit of jumping from one Prophets to another in their quest to seek for spiritual guidance and protection.

According to her, women are the most vulnerable to circumstances, and stressed that most of these self-acclaimed Prophets turn to take advantage of their vulnerability and abuse them spiritually, physically, emotionally and psychologically.

Rev. Danful who gave the advice at the opening of a one week Spiritual Encounter Programme on the theme ‘’Overtake to Takeover’’ blamed the situation on the lack of the habit of studying the scriptures by some Christians, especially women.

She hinted that the week-long programme which is expected to be attended by people of all religious background and believe, is to intercede for the nation through prayers.

The prayer was led by the founder and leader of the church, Bishop Abraham J.B. Kwofie.

In a related development, the Twelve Apostles Salvation Miracle Church last Saturday held its monthly intercessional prayer for the nation.

Briefing the media during the programme, the founder and leader of the church, Prophetess Vitoria Arthur noted that the numerous problems confronting the nation is because its political leaders have turn their back to God and seek protection from other spirits.

She has therefore appealed to all religious groups not to relent on their efforts in praying to God to intercede for the nation.

Meanwhile, the founder of the Glory Pillar Ministry also in Agona Swedru, Apostle Eric Annan has warned pastors who take undue advantage of their congregation, especially women because of their vulnerability to desist from the practice because it does not augur well for the ministry of the Gospel.

He described as unacceptable, the situation where some self-acclaimed Prophets turn to dupe members of the unsuspecting public by selling anointing oils and other items to them at exorbitant prices under the guise of delivering them from spiritual attacks.

His warning was in support of earlier concerns expressed by a cross section of members of the Clergy over the development.
