Days after interacting with stake holders from Juvenile and women’s league clubs in the region, the Northern Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo engaged division two clubs for the first time since being elected into office at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Responding to questions and concerns raised during the interaction, the former CEO of Guan Utd pledged to address challenges hindering the development of football in the region.
“identification of the problem is just as good as coming out with remedies to solve the problems, now we have identified these challenges, we need to find measures to deal with them” Alhaji Abu Hassan said when speaking to the media.
He promise to empanel a team of registration officers to Zones facing problems in registration of players, which he says is the major obstacle in the region.
Alhaji Abu Hassan says he will use his capacity to appeal to the GFA President to consider clubs in relation to payment of affiliation fee which is pegged at 1000 Ghana Cedis.
The meeting was also held to identify clubs that will represent the region the upcoming MTN FA Cup competition.
