This Year election is going to be the return of the covenant box: Akyem Oda NDC PC.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for Akyem Oda constituency in the Birim Central Municipality Eastern Region, Mr. Jones Asante, has stated that this year’s election in Akyem Oda constituency will be “the return of the covenant box.

” In an interview with Oyerepa TV after a health walk and campaign launch, Mr. Asante noted that the NPP has been in power in the constituency for seven consecutive terms, yet there is nothing to show for it.

“Throughout their tenure, all projects in Akyem Oda constituency were executed by the NDC government,” Mr. Jones Asante said.

“Even President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, who has been in power for seven years, has failed to deliver. Despite taking loans, there is no tangible evidence of their utilization.”

The NDC PC urged the people of Akyem Oda constituency to change their voting pattern and elect him and former President John Dramani Mahama to bring more developmental projects to the area.

“The current MP has not initiated any projects in the constituency; instead, he claim credit for others’ achievements.”

According to Asante, “There is not a single project in the constituency initiated by the current MP that has been completed successfully.

” He pleaded with the people to vote for him and Mahama, ensuring the town experiences transformation.

Mr. Asante emphasized vigilance in the upcoming election. “We will not allow anyone to create confusion.

We will match everyone boot for boot.”

Constituency Chairman Alhaji Gariba Mumuni echoed Asante’s sentiments. “NPP has ruled the constituency for many years but has no notable achievements.

All projects, including water initiatives, were executed by NDC.”

Mr. Mumuni urged the people to vote massively for NDC. “Elect our Parliamentary candidate to support former President Mahama in implementing the 24-hour economy in Akyem Oda.

We are going to protect every vote this year.”

Former Eastern Regional Chairman of NDC Mr. Tawiah Boateng, popularly known as Ɔtafrigya, criticized NPP’s tenure. “From Hon. Osafo Marfo’s time to date, NPP has achieved nothing in Akyem Oda.

I was surprised by the poor state of some roads in the constituency.”

Ɔtafrigya called on constituents to vote against NPP and elect Jones Asante to develop the constituency.
