NDC’s promise to school’s is settings: Akyem Oda MP.

“The Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda constituency, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has described the NDC’s promise to strengthen Ghana’s education system as mere rhetoric.

Speaking to the media after overseeing mock exams he organized for JHS students, the MP criticized the NDC for failing to fulfill promises made during the 2024 election campaign.

He cited an example where former President John Dramani Mahama, then the NDC candidate, promised to provide headmasters of Senior High Schools with funds to purchase foodstuffs from the Amasaman market.

However, Hon. Acquah alleged that the NDC has since abandoned this promise and is instead adopting similar practices to the NPP, including purchasing goods for schools.

The MP expressed disappointment that the NDC’s actions have not lived up to their campaign promises.”
