Humanitarian Awards Global (HAG) has officially unveiled its list of the 100 Most Influential Change Makers in Ghana for 2025, recognizing individuals who are making significant contributions toward national development and social transformation.
As part of its mission to inspire a new generation of changemakers, HAG’s annual publication celebrates individuals who are passionately committed to making a difference and challenging the status quo across various sectors in Ghana.
Over the years, HAG has played a pivotal role in reshaping the narrative around changemaking through impactful initiatives such as award ceremonies, educational programs, leadership summits, and its widely recognized ranking publications. According to the organization, “this initiative goes beyond recognition—it is about highlighting both individual and collective efforts that are inspiring the next generation of leaders, within Ghana and beyond.”
The selection process for the 2025 list involved a rigorous and transparent approach. Nominations were carefully reviewed, followed by detailed background checks on each nominee’s impact-driven work. Final selections were made through board evaluations and justifications, resulting in the shortlisting of the top 100 individuals. Key criteria included leadership, influence, consistency, and, most importantly, measurable community and social impact.
In maintaining the credibility and relevance of the list, some past honorees have been retained based on their continued impact and alignment with the selection criteria, while new entrants have been recognized for their emerging contributions and influence.
This publication serves not only as a recognition platform but also as a source of inspiration for these agents of change, encouraging them to continue advancing their mission of improving lives and driving meaningful progress in their respective fields.
