Asene Manso Akroso DCE Commissions Two Projects, Urges End to Politicizing Development*

The District Chief Executive for Asene Manso Akroso District, Hon. Eric Ahinakwa, has advised members of the previous government to stop claiming that the current government is “stealing” their projects, stressing that governance is a continuous process.

He made the remarks while commissioning two projects in the district — a CHPS compound at Akyem Mofram and a three-unit JHS block at Akyem Tabitha.

Both projects were started by the previous government and completed under his tenure.

Hon. Ahinakwa said it was unfortunate that some members of the former government are accusing the current administration of hijacking their projects.

He explained that H.E. President John Dramani Mahama has directed all appointees to continue and complete projects initiated by their predecessors.

“Building a country means continuing all legacy projects started by the previous government.

That is how we develop as a nation,” he stated.

He promised to continue and complete all projects initiated by the former administration.

He added that the newly commissioned CHPS compound at Mofram will soon be furnished with equipment to make it operational.

The DCE urged the public not to politicize nation-building, noting that NPP members have also benefited from his leadership.

The District Health Director for Asene Manso Akroso called on residents to support efforts to equip the CHPS compound.

She also urged them to give health workers the needed support, and advised the health workers to dedicate themselves fully to service in the area.

Chiefs of both Mofram and Tabitha commended the DCE for the projects and appealed to him to continue delivering more development to their communities.
