Newly elected Chairman of Trobu Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Desmond Frimpong Manso popular known as “Cocroach” in private life has high hopes and ambitions for his constituency.
Together with his newly sworn in executives, he is gritty to work tirelessly to canvass massive support and votes not only for his constituency but NPP at large, particularly in the upcoming 2028 general elections.
Topmost on his agenda, hardworking “Cocroach” who unseated incumbent Trobu Constituency Chairman, Nana Kyei, with a huge margin in terms of votes has assured his unflinching support for Trobu Constituency MP Gloria Owusu, hoping that she will remain in power in the next election in 2028 to continue her good deeds for the New Patroitic Party.
Desmond Frimpong Manso “Cocroach”, was once a well known football administrator. He took Ghana Football by storm in the mid 2000 when he helped changed the fortunes of Premier League side Kpando Heart of Lions as General Manager.
His exploits and transformation he brought into the Ghana League quickly earned him a national role at the Black Satellites as Management Committee Chairman.
Frimpong Manso has switched total attention to politics now and he hopes to replicate his glorious days in football into politics with key focus on development at the grassroots level.
