Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, Founder and Leader of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), has launched two new books as part of activities marking his 62nd birthday, with prominent clergy and dignitaries joining him to celebrate his life, ministry and literary contributions.
The event, held at the Parliament Chapel in Odorkor Official Town, brought together family, friends, church leaders, government officials and members of the public for what became both a birthday celebration and a major book launch.
The two books unveiled were “Nine Things God Never Promised” and “The Reasons Why Ghana Delayed,” which Apostle Amoako Atta described as the result of more than a year of writing, prayer and reflection.
Speaking at the launch, Apostle General of Royalhouse Chapel, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah, urged Christians to honour spiritual leaders who faithfully serve God, citing 1 Timothy 5:17, which states that elders who lead well are worthy of double honour, especially those who labour in preaching and teaching.
“Let them be accounted worthy of double honour because God has already honoured them,” he said. “When you honour the one whom God has blessed, you attract the blessings upon that person.”
Reverend Korankye Ankrah said true honour goes beyond words and is demonstrated through obedience to a spiritual father’s teachings and values.
He identified two ways of honouring a spiritual father: becoming a product of what he preaches and a manifestation of what he stands for.
“If he preaches salvation, be saved. If he preaches righteousness, be righteous,” he said. “His love, sacrifices, labour and dedication to God’s work deserve celebration.”
Reviewing the books, the Royalhouse Chapel leader described both publications as “masterpieces” and said they provide profound spiritual lessons rooted in biblical truth.
Referring to “Nine Things God Never Promised,” he noted that many believers misunderstand God’s promises.
“God never promised marriage without problems, yet despite the challenges, your marriage lives to see 62 years,” he said. “God never promised that you would not fall sick, but when you fall sick, that is when His power is made available.”
In an interview after the launch, Apostle Amoako Attah revealed that he deliberately delayed publishing the books for a year while praying for the appropriate time to release them.
“I kept the books for one year, praying over them until I was convinced that the time had come,” he said.
He explained that “The Reasons Why Ghana Delayed” draws parallels between Ghana’s development challenges and the biblical account of the Israelites, whose journey to the Promised Land took 40 years instead of a few days.
“We do not learn from the Bible,” he said. “The Israelites were delayed because there were certain things they failed to do. I discovered that Ghana is facing similar challenges, and we must learn from those biblical events.”
He said the books are intended to encourage readers to apply biblical principles to their personal lives and national development, adding that spiritual transformation and obedience to God’s word remain essential for progress.
“The Book; Nine Things God Never Promised is the best things that has come from me and I want everybody to get a copy.”
The launch formed the climax of Apostle Amoako Attah’s 62nd birthday celebration and highlighted his continuing influence in Christian ministry, teaching and public discourse.
The church also held a mammoth Thanksgiving Service, yesterday Sunday, August 9, 2026 to thank God for His Goodness and expressed great appreciation to Him for the live of Apostle Francis Amoako Attah.
