As the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituencies election heats up, Emmanuel Odai Tettey is poised to be elected as Vice Chairman for the Dome-Kwabenya constituency during the elections.
Mr. Odai Tettey , who stands number one on ballot paper after ballots yesterday, believed that his track records within the constituency would create room for his victory..
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Odai Tettey assured that he would ensure that entire members of the party stand united to help them retain the parliamentary seat and also increase their presidential votes in he 2028 general elections when elected.
He pleaded with the delegate to reward him for his hard work for the party in the past years massively vote for him as Vice Chairman for the part in the in the constituency.
“The NDC historically won the Dome-Kwabenya parliamentary seat in the 2024 general elections, and it’s therefore very important that we work hard to retain the seat,” he disclosed.
He advised supporters of his opponents to avoid the politics of insult during their campaigns for the beauty of the party’s democracy.
“The NDC is a beautiful political party that embraces everybody, and we must therefore not create room for campaign of insults within the party during our internal elections,” he stated.
Mr. Odai Tettey seized the opportunity and pleaded with Ghanaians to have confidence in the current President John Dramani Mahama led-administration for the goodness of the country.
He disclosed that the reset Ghana agenda by President Mahama was on course and would soon manifest in the lives of every Ghanaian in the absence of any discrimination.
