Get Your Answers Consult has opened applications for the fifth cohort of its Career Mentorship Programme, an initiative aimed at helping students, jobseekers and professionals across Ghana gain career clarity, develop relevant skills and build purposeful, future-ready careers.
The programme, according to the organisation, was created in response to a recurring challenge among aspiring and emerging professionals who have the qualifications and potential to succeed but often lack the direction, networks, practical strategies and mentorship needed to translate their potential into meaningful career opportunities.
Career Coach at Get Your Answers Consult, Lydia Quayson Adjei, said the programme is designed to go beyond conventional motivational sessions by providing participants with practical tools and guidance for long-term career development.
“Our goal is not simply to prepare someone for their next job. Our goal is to help people build careers,” Lydia Quayson Adjei said.
The mentorship programme focuses on career clarity and direction, personal branding, networking strategies, artificial intelligence, future-ready workplace skills, career development and employability, as well as industry insights and mentorship.
Participants are also supported to identify their strengths and interests, develop career visions, create SMART career vision boards, improve their CVs and LinkedIn profiles, prepare for interviews and build professional networks.
According to Get Your Answers Consult, the programme has recorded steady growth since its launch.
The inaugural cohort received more than 20 applications, with 15 participants selected and 12 successfully graduating.
For Cohort 2, applications rose to more than 100. Fifty participants were selected, with 38 completing the programme.
Cohort 3 attracted more than 50 applications, resulting in the selection of 35 participants, of whom 28 successfully completed the mentorship journey.
The fourth cohort received 90 applications, with 50 mentees selected and 33 successfully graduating.
The organisation says the impact of the programme extends beyond the number of participants who complete each cohort, with mentees reporting increased career confidence, stronger personal branding, improved career decision-making and expanded professional networks.
Some alumni have also pursued new employment opportunities, transitioned into new career paths, strengthened their leadership capabilities and gained confidence to pursue larger professional goals.
Lydia said the growth of the programme demonstrates the importance of providing people with access to practical career guidance and professional networks.
“When people have access to the right guidance, exposure, networks and practical tools, potential can become progress,” she said.
Cohort 5
The fifth cohort is expected to begin on Sunday, November 8, 2026, and will be delivered virtually over four weekends.
Sessions will run from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The programme is open to students, recent graduates, National Service Personnel, jobseekers, early-career professionals and experienced professionals seeking their next level of growth.
Key areas covered will include career clarity and direction, personal branding, networking strategies, artificial intelligence, future-ready skills, career development and employability, and industry insights and mentorship.
Get Your Answers Consult said joining the waitlist does not automatically guarantee selection, with successful applicants to receive further communication.
The organisation is also inviting corporations, universities and tertiary institutions, professional associations, HR and talent development organisations, industry leaders, development organisations, NGOs and other organisations committed to professional development to partner with the programme.
Potential partnership opportunities include industry mentorship, career talks and masterclasses, talent development, sponsorship and scholarships, industry exposure and expert contributions.
Lydia said collaboration between employers, educational institutions, professionals and development organisations is important to preparing the next generation of workers for an evolving labour market.
“We are not simply building a mentorship programme. We are building a pipeline of more informed, confident, skilled and future-ready professionals,” she said.
