Akroso senior high and technical school in the Asene Akroso Manso Constituency has seen rise in population from about 1100 students in 2016 to about 1700 students in 2019 as a result of the introduction of the free senior high school program.
In September 2019, Mp for Asene Akroso Manso Constituency, Hon. George Kwame Aboagye, DCE, Hon. Alex Incoom, party executives, joined staff and students of AKROSTECH, the chieves and the people of Akroso to cutsod for the construction of Akrostech boys dormitory which is currently about 35% completed.
Today, the SkylineCommunication team can report that the GNPC FOUNDATION was at Akim Akroso senior high and technical school after the Mp for the area, Hon. George Kwame Aboagye has requested for support from the executive secretary of the foundation, Dr. Dominic Eduah in area of infrastructural developments.
The DCE for Asene Manso Akroso district, Hon. Alex Incoom together with his Constituency executives led the GNPC team to the Akim Akroso chief palace to introduce the chief and his elders, the contractor in charge of the project.
The headmaster of Akrostech Mr. Sampson Agyiri Nyarko expressed his joy for the project and led the team to the part of the school proposed for siting the 6 units classroom block expected to be completed in 6 month time.
