Nana Okoto Ahenkrah III, Chief of Akyem Apaaso in the Birim South District, Eastern Region, has appealed to citizens and philanthropists to support the completion of the town’s Chief Palace.
At the homecoming ceremony, the Chief emphasized that a palace is essential for the town’s authority and hosting visitors.
He also urged President to intervene in resolving issues with the contractor constructing the T-Vet project, which has been halted.
Nana Okoto Ahenkrah III noted that completing the project will benefit local youth.
Alhaji Taaju Rahim, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Akyem Swedru constituency, congratulated the Chief and people on the celebration.
He pledged to construct a modern borehole for the palace and echoed the call for the President to resolve the T-Vet project issues.
Rahim emphasized his commitment to peace and development, urging citizens to vote for him in the December election.
Hon. Kennedy Osei Nyako, MP for the area, congratulated the people on the successful ceremony, promising ongoing support.
