‘Efie Ne Fie’, an Association of elites indigenes of Agona Bobikuma Lower in the Central Region have supported the development of the town by donating forty bags of cement towards the construction of an ultra modern community center.
Prior to this, the Association had provided various health care services, including eye surgery to some indigenes of the town.
This was revealed by members of the Association in an interview with the media during the celebration of this year’s annual Akwambo festival of the town.
During the festival, the Association also handed over a newly constricted toilet facility to the ADA School in the town, to replace an old and dilapidated one.
According to the members, the core vision of the Association is to support the vulnerable in society, such as the aged and children in need, as well as promote quality and accessible education among school children in the town, especially the girl-child.
