The Municipal Chief Executive for Birim Central Municipality in the Eastern Region, Hon. Solomon Kusi Brako*, has welcomed the investigation by the ffice of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) into allegations of illegal mining, _galamsey_, levelled against him.
According to him, he remains fully committed to transparency, accountability, and due process.
Hon. Kusi Brako stated that should he be invited by the OSP to assist with the investigation, he will offer his full cooperation and provide any information or documentation required to aid the process.
“I am confident that a thorough and impartial investigation will establish the facts and put the matter to rest,” he said.
He added: “I have always maintained my commitment to the fight against illegal mining and the protection of our environment, and I remain prepared to support every legitimate effort to uncover the truth.”
