The Paramount Chief of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area in the Central Region, Obrempong Yamfo Krampah XI has advised traditional authorities of Gomoa Ekwamkrom to burry any difference among them and forge for unity for the development of the town.
He gave the advice during the celebration of this year’s annual Akwambo festival of the chiefs and people of the town.
His advice follows a long standing dispute among two “gates” as to who ascends the throne, after the demise of the late chief of the town, Nana Ekwam X over a decade ago.
The impasse has affected development of the town, until a new chief was installed last year.
Expressing his hope for the support of the new chief, Obrempong Yamfo Krampah also advised the youth not to allow themselves to be used by any politician or political party to achieve their parochial interest, especially during this year’s upcoming general elections.
