Christ Partners Chapel from Odorkor in Accra last week donated some assorted items valued at about GH 10,000 Cedis to the Countryside Children’s Welfare Home at Ewuru Bawjiase in the Central Region.
The items include packs of bottled water, crates of assorted soft drinks, toiletries, clothing and some amount of money. Presenting the items, the minister in charge of the church, Rev. William Ankomah Nuamah disclosed that the donation forms part of the church’s mission of supporting the needy and the less privilege in society.
He therefore called on benevolent individuals and organizations to always consider it a responsibility to help the under privilege, as that is the will of God. He later cautioned parents not to shirk their responsibility of caring for their children, because if that is done, according to him, God will avenge His anger on any such parent.
