A warehouse belonging to the erstwhile Ghana Cocoa Marketing Board (GCMB) now Cocoa Marketing Board (CMB) at Gomoa Eshiem in the Gomoa West District in the Central Region has becoming a safe haven for rodents and reptiles, as the huge edifice which could be refurbished and used for other purposes has been left to the mercy of the weather to collapse.
A visit to the structure shows its doors and windows eaten off by termites and its roof completely rusted off and almost ripped apart, with no one attending to it.
The building is just one of the structure belonging to the state that have been abandoned and left to their fate at the mercy of the weather, with a few of them serving as residents for some people, as well as hide-outs for criminals.
