
The Deputy Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda constituency, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has organized a special mock exam for final year Junior High School (JHS) students in the constituency.
41 basic schools, comprising 21 private and 20 public schools, participated in the exam, with 1,468 students taking part.
This is the fourth time the Deputy Minister has organized such an initiative, demonstrating his commitment to education in the constituency.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Joyce Adwoa Agyeiwa, praised the MP’s efforts, stating that education is dear to his heart.
She urged students to study hard and advised parents to be vigilant and supportive of their children’s education.
The Municipal Education Director, Mrs. Esther Quaye Sowah, commended the MP’s initiative, noting that practice makes perfect and that the special mock exam will help students improve in their final exams.
The Vice Chairman of the MP’s Education Committee, Mr. Roland Bruce Appiah, encouraged students to learn diligently to achieve their goals.
He advised them to avoid exam malpractice and stay focused on their studies.
