
The District Chief Executive Officer of Asene Manso Akroso District in Eastern Region Hon Alex Inkoom has said the government is going to construct road’s in Akyem Manso and its environs before the end of the year.
The District Chief Executive made this pronouncement during his encounter with the media to discuss issues concerning Asene Manso Akroso District.
About Eighty percent of roads in the Asene Manso Akroso District are not in good shape so the DCE said the district is going to benefit from Cocoa road’s project by the end of the year.
Hon Alex Inkoom speaking on security issues in the district said plans are far advance as far as getting district Police headquarters so that they can maintain peace and take care of human lives and property in the district.
Listing some of the projects he has done since he took office as the District Chief Executive in collaboration with the hard-working Member of Parliament of the area Hon Goerge Kwame Aboage popularly called Oluwa he said about 82 people have benefited from the National Builders Corps.
Speaking about one district one factory he said 10,000 palm oil seedlings have been shared among farmers to grow as a source of raw material for the establishment of the palm oil factory in the district.
He also said 36,000 is yet to be shared among the farmers.
Hon Alex Inkoom, however, said as the way of taken good care of the various farms quality chemicals have been distributed to the farmers so that they can use it to take very good care of their farms.
Proposed seedlings expected to raise in 2019 is 36,000 which 540 would benefit from.
On education, Hon Inkoom said currently there’s a construction of two unit KG blocks at Aprokumase, Adu krom, Tabitha,Mofram,Osenho and Badu krom.
He added that there is a construction of a one-story library facility and dormetary in Atweaman SenirS High School and also construction of institutional toilet facility with a borehole in Akroso Senior High School.
Two hundred pieces of dual desk and Fifty Kindergarten tables with three hundred chairs to be distributed among selected basic schools within the district.
Speaking on health issues and project he embarking on as far as health is concern Hon Alex Inkoom said there is a construction of Asene Health Center and also there is an ongoing construction of Male and Female ward at Akroso Health Center and rehabilitation of Akroso Health Center maternity block.
On roads, he said there is road maintenance of 9.1km on Akyem Manso and Odumase feeder road and also the construction of twenty meters steel bridge at Kweku Kwaa.
Construction of mechanized borehole at Ehyiamu,Asuosu and Asuboa.
So far thirty two communities have been enrolled to the national grid.
Hon Alex Inkoom pleaded with Ghanaians to vote yes in the incoming refredom vote.
