Greater Accra FDGG Chairman & Vice On International Assignment
McLord Ice, the greater Accra Vice Chairman of the Film Directors’ Guild of Ghana (FDGG) and his abled chairman Haruna Seidu Zoree are on separate trips to South Africa and USA respectively to bring new ideas and expertise to help move the FDGG forward.
The President of FDGG and the Ashanti Regional Chairman are also currently in India working hard to link the FDGG to the international community.
The President, Richard Boateng will be shooting a short movie which is indo Ghana collaboration.
Meanwhile, McLord Ice who is also one of Ghana most promising film directors has landed another deal to work on a project in South Africa and will also be meeting with some international filmmakers to discuss more about FDGG and its international collaboration.
The chairman, Mr Soale Zoree who is also in LA in the USA will meet up with some international filmmakers at the LAFILMFESTIVAL to discuss how directors in FDGG can submit their works and be counted among the bests in the world.
Both executives, vice chairman McLord Ice Impraim and the regional chairmen Haruna Siedu Zoree have worked very tirelessly with the communication director Fiifi Jayden to make this South Africa and USA trips successful.
Some people say this trip is to compensate McLord Ice, but the president quickly debunked that saying FDGG always works hard to attract foreign production and McLord Ice is one of the few directors who takes the art of filmmaking seriously hence the attention of his hard work spreading abroad, so is Zoree.
Mr Zoree left for the film festival in with the 40 & Singles TV Web series which was directed by one of the renowned movie directors, Leila Djansi.
Mr. Haruna Seidu Soale Zoree as part of his visit to the US, will also be taking a two weeks intensive training with Sony Pictures Entertainment Studios in Hollywood.
