The Minister for Communication and Digitization, Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful, has donated 7,509 books to the Christiana Akua Brago Community Library and ICT Technology Hub in Akyem Oda, in honor of her mother and family’s love for reading.
This gesture supports the efforts of the MP for the area, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, and the Municipality to promote education and development in Akyem Oda.
The Minister of Communication and Digitization Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful, in her address urged parents to take responsibility for their children’s education, emphasizing its importance for their future.
She encouraged parents to utilize the library and ICT hub for their benefit and stressed the importance of reading and learning in national development.
The Minister also highlighted the need for everyone, especially artisans, to acquire ICT skills to remain relevant in the digital age. She assured that her motive is to ensure no one is left behind in the digital world.
The Deputy Minister of Health and MP for Akyem Oda, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, commended Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful for her support and emphasized the benefits of reading and learning.
He encouraged artisans to take advantage of digital tools to improve their work.
The Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Hon. Kofi Ahenkrah Marfo, requested Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful’s assistance in resolving network issues in Achiase constituency and expressed gratitude for her support.
