The Chief of Akyem Kotoku Anyinam in the Achiase District, Eastern Region, Nana Marfo Amparbeng iii, has advised the youth to live a virtuous lifestyle, emphasizing that good behavior is crucial for future opportunities.
In an interview with Oyerepa TV after the launch of the Anyinam Kotoku Development Association’s water project, the Chief stated that the youth are the future leaders of the country and should strive to be exemplary.
He urged them to avoid opioid drugs, which can ruin their future, and to take their education seriously, whether in academics or vocational training.
The Chief commended the group for initiating the water project and encouraged everyone to join hands to develop the town collectively.
Mr. Richard Yamoah, Chairman of the Akyem Kotoku Anyinam Development Association, echoed this sentiment, calling on all citizens of Akyem Kotoku Anyinam to come together to develop their town with pride.
He emphasized that individual efforts alone cannot drive development and that collective participation is essential.
Meanwhile, Hon. Kofi Ahenkora Marfo, the Member of Parliament for Achiase constituency, appealed for peace in the area, stressing that development cannot thrive in an environment of conflict.
He announced plans to build a market and nurses’ bungalow and improvement of their roads system in the town and urged residents to maintain calm to facilitate progress.
