The minister in charge of the Agona Asafo branch of the Resurrection Baptist Church of the Ghana Baptist Convention, Rev. Abraham T.K. Sanniez has admonished Ghanaians not to take the peace that the country is enjoying for granted but do the best that they can to protect it.
In a New Year message, Rev. Sanniez said despite their differences, Ghanaians are noted as a peace-loving people, and therefore urged the populace never to allow this peace to be traded for anything, no matter the circumstance.
He also admonished religious leaders in the country to continue to pray for the betterment of the country.
However, he advised Christians not to see Christmas as a period of merry making, but rather as moment of reflecting one one’s life, so as not to defeat the purpose of Christ’s death on the cross to save mankind.
