Tema-based businessman Mr. Jerome Kwame Okyere Akordor, popularly known as “Akuafo Adanfo,” has called on NPP party executives in Akyem Swedru constituency in the Birim South District Eastern Region to make sure there’s fairness in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries.
Currently, there are three people contesting for the position of NPP parliamentary candidate in Akyem Swedru constituency.
The people contesting are Hon. Kennedy Osei Nyarko, who is the incumbent MP for the area; Mr. Kwesi Kwenin Bosompem, the Controller and Accountant General of the Republic of Ghana; and businessman Mr. Jerome Kwame Okyere Akordor.
Mr. Jerome Kwame Okyere Akordor, speaking to the people during the picking of his form, urged the executives to maintain the fairness they are showing during the picking of the forms.
He called on the executives to make sure there’s fairness in the competition.
He promised that they would respect the rules and regulations of the NPP party.
He advised other aspirants to be clean in their camping because, after the primaries, they have to come together to fight for victory for the NPP in 2024 so that it will enable the party to break the 8.
Every candidate’s campaign must resemble his lifestyle, Mr. Jerome said.
He stated that he stands for a clean campaign.
The chairman of the NPP in Akyem Swedru constituency, giving the forms to Mr. Dominic Fobie, advised all the aspiring parliamentary candidates to do a clean campaign because, after the primaries, they will need everyone to come on board to campaign for victory for the NPP in 2024.
He assures all the aspirants that they are going to be fair in the election.
