Odaumanhene, His Royal Majesty Odeneho Ofosu Kwabi Ayebiahwe, has destooled his Benkumhene over misconduct.
Addressing his subjects, the Odaumanhene stated that the Benkumhene made some comments against him which did not go well with him.
He said the Benkumhene, during one of their sittings, said that regarding the conflict between the Odaumanhene and the Akyem Abuakwa Manhene, if it were in the olden days, the Odauman Hene would have lost his head.
Odeneho Ofosu Kwabi Ayebiahwe added that since the conflict between the Odaumanhene and the Akyem Abuakwa Manhene started, the Benkumhene has not been attending their sittings regularly, choosing which days to attend and which days not to.
He noted that he can no longer work with the Benkumhene and has therefore destooled him.
The Abusuapanyin of the Benkumhene pleaded with the Odauman Hene to give them some time to inform the rest of their family members about the issue and get back to him.
