
The Founding President of Passionates Africa Leadership Institute- Global (PALI- Global) has paid a courtesy call on the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Acheampong in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua ahead of the epic event dubbed “evolve 2022”
The delegation sought to formally introduce the institute, present a copy of the “Strong City Effect”, the maiden book of the Founding President of the institute and to highlight other specifics including extending an official invitation to the first gentleman of the region.
Briefing by the Founder
In introducing the institute, the Founding President indicated how his passion to help raise the ‘standard’ of others pushed him from pursuing his educational dreams towards creating a community centered human development entity that over the past 17 years had evolved into PALI-GLOBAL.
He mentioned Akim-Oda as the birth region of the then Vision Care Ghana and pointed out some successes of the institute so far.
The Strong City Effect
The Honourable Minister was handed a copy of the Founding President’s maiden book, “The Strong City Effect”, a book that has been tauted by both ordinary individuals and achievers as a masterpiece that gives an impetus towards optimum utilisation of one’s innate potentials.
Mrs Cynthia, a member of the PALI-Global delegation presented the book to the minister.
Eastern School of Leadership
Other reasons for seeking the audience of the Honourable Minister was to, officially invite him to the maiden edition of the Eastern Youth Skills Development and Competence Bolstering session; introduce the concepts of the Eastern School of Leadership and Youth Mentoring and the Developmental Conversation & Resource Exhibition to Explore the Economic Competitiveness of the Eastern Region.
The Minister’s response and assurance
The Eastern Regional Minister Hon. Seth Acheampong congratulated the Founding President of PALI- Global for been able to sail through from “ground-zero” till the seventeenth year after its establishment, indicating his knowledge on how turbulent the environment is for such institutes to thrive and to hold on to their primary focus.
He shared his experience on being invited as a speaker at many fora on mentorship and knowledge sharing.
He expressed his delight at having been acknowledged and invited to the upcoming forum and declared his schedules will permit him to be present.
The Honourable Minister lauded the idea of what he termed “Mapping”; reaching out to the experienced and achievers in life to avail themselves to the young and inexperienced for a dialogue, as proposed in the “Eastern School of Leadership and Youth Mentoring” program.
His quick acceptance of the concept, he said, was due to the fact that “this is an area many have lost sight of”.
He stated that the Regional Coordinating Council was open to the concept and ready to assist in many ways possible to make it a success.
