Parents have been urged to invest in the education of their children, as that is the only means to success of their future life.
The advice was given by the proprietor of the Paradise Pastures Academy, Pastor Ernest Morrison Quansah during the launching and maiden graduation of the school at Gomoa Beseadze in the Gomoa District of the Central Region.
According to him, the Gomoa District has continued to record low standard in Basic education, with high increase in teenage pregnancy among girls, and this he attributed to poor or lack of parental care.
Addressing the gathering, the Assembly member for the area, Mr. Paul Ocran also advice the parents, particularly mothers, to reduce the habit of purchasing expensive clothes to show off at funerals, and rather channel those resources into the education of their children.
