The General Overeer of the Jesus Christ Apostolic Church, Snr. Pastor Justice Abban has blamed modern day pastors of failing society by refusing to condemn sin, but rather propagating material gains in the church.
Speaking to Ghana news247 prior to the Church’s 83rd Camp Meeting at its headquarters at Agona Asafo in the Central Region, he condemned the situation where some churches allow women to wear indecent dresses such as trousers and transparent clothes to church, without any condemnation from the pastor.
He also mentioned fornication by some church members, saying such acts are serious abomination in the sight of God. According to him, this situation is an indication that the modern day church has failed to live up to its core responsibility of winning souls for Christ, and therefore charged pastors to live up to their responsibilities as shepherds of the flock.
