The outgoing Member of Parliament for the Essikado-Ketan Constituency in the Western Region, Hon. Joe Ghartey, has led the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Essikado-Ketan, Charles Onuawonto Bissue, to the Palace of the Divisional Chief of Kojokrom, Nana Panyin Yena IV.
Hon. Ghartey and Mr. Bissue who is likely to succeed him as Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan Constituency, recently paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Kojokrom at his Palace.
During the visit which was intended to formally introduce Charles Bissue to the traditional leader, Hon. Ghartey seized the opportunity to preach peace and unity in the area ahead of the 2024 presidential and Parliamentary elections.
In his brief remarks, he said the people of Essikado-Ketan Constituency and indeed all Ghanaians are one people, saying emphatically “we are all one people.”
