We Have No Deal For 2020 – Mahama & Spio

The office of former President John Mahama as well as that of Dr Spio-Garbrah, former Trade and Industry Minister has dismissed rumours making rounds that both leaders have reach an agreement to support each other ahead of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flagbearership race.

The office of Dr Spio-Garbrah, former Trade and Industry Minister said there cannot be a deal especially that the party is in the reorganization process and no declaration has been made by both parties with regards to the Flagbearership race.

‘There is no deal. The reorganization of the party should be the ultimate goal for all and sundry to ensure a formidable party ahead of 2020’ the office of Dr Spio-Garbrah said.

To this end, called on all party faithful to support the reorganization process to build a formidable party ahead of 2020.

The office of former President John Mahama could not deny supporting the candidature of Dr Spio-Garbrah, former Trade and Industry Minister for the Flagbearership race or former President John Mahama contesting the Flagbearership race.

NDC ELECTION TIMETABLE

Koku Anyidoho, Deputy General Secretary-Operations of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has said that a Press Conference to be addressed by Comrade Kofi Portuphy, Chairman and Leader of the NDC, will be held at the Party’s headquarters on, Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 11am, to flesh out the decisions arrived at by the National Executive Committee (NEC), at its meeting on, Thursday, October 12, 2017.

According to Koku Anyidoho, Deputy General Secretary-Operations the press engagement would be on NDC Re-registration ,Branch Re-organization and Internal Elections Timetable.
