The role of women in the up-bringing of children have been described as a special and unique task that could not be compromised, despite the fact that fathers, as heads, controls the home.
This special attribution were made by the founders and leaders of Christ Answers Chapel Prophet Eduakoh Tieku Tawiah, the Trainer for Heaven Chapel Evangelical Pastor Isaac Kojo Baah and Divine Gift Worship Ministry Rev. Philip McCalister Appiah, all in Agona Swedru.
According to them, women have played this unique role since the days of Eve and will continue to play it because it was a tasked gifted them by God.
They said this task has created great bond between mothers and their children, sometimes to the envy of fathers, despite they fact that the father shoulders all the financial burden of the home.
However, they described women as ”possessive beings” who always want to take absolute control of everything in the home, irrespective of the fact that it was the father that provided that, sometimes even extending it to the children, a character they hinted could be traced to Biblical history.
