Odauhene Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi Ayebiawe has shown solidarity with Ghana’s Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, by attending the funeral of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Joan Kpentey, also known as Joan Semanu Ama Akploekpoe.
The ceremony took place at Vakpo Todzi in the Volta Region.
The Odauhene was joined by chiefs from Akyem Etwereso, as well as other chiefs from across the country, who came to pay their respects and mourn with Dr. Dampare.
The event also drew politicians and business leaders, who attended to show their last respects to the deceased.
