REV. Albert Mwiniwauri Annadie, Founder and leader of the Megaharvest Global Mission, has called on all parents to be quick to go to the extra mile out of their busy schedules, to detect any changes in the attitudes of their wards, especially the toddlers who could barely talk, to help ascertain if they are any weeping, or pains in the heart asking for help or safety. He believes that most children have pools of tears deep down their hearts, without the voice to speak out for help.
Records over the years, according to his research, have disclosed that, a lot of children, especially toddlers who have no voices to speak their pains out, are going through terrible treatments in the hands of their caregivers without the knowledge of their parents.
It is in this regard that the concerned leader and father, appeals to parents to devise extra means of monitoring whatsoever happens to their wards in the hands of their teachers, guardians, nannies, and other caregivers during their absence.
He made this passionate appeal in an exclusive interview with our reporter over the week.
He established; “in our world today ,many children suffer severely in the hands of some caregivers, hired nannies, and relatives. These children are entrusted in the hands of these caregivers with the believe that they would be good shepherds and source of protection to them. But unfortunately, most of these children rather end up in the hands of their detractors.”
He observed that, ironically, most of these child-enemies pretentiously carry innocent faces, and are full of fake smiles and extra care for their victims in the presence of the parents, making it very difficult for the parent to suspect any foul play behind the bar. Meanwhile, there are silent cries locked up in their silent hearts of these vulnerable little angels, calling for help.
Rev. Albert, underscored that, not all the cries of the poor children are just for food, lack of cloth or shelter, but sometimes, they also cry because of the pains and maltreatment they go through in diverse ways in the hands of their so-called caregivers in their lonely world, while their parents are out there in search of their daily bread.
He observed that, these vulnerable Children see a lot of things, but cannot voice them out. They hear many things that break their hearts and contaminate their otherwise pure spirits which they cannot talk about . They experience series of maltreatment.
He emphasized that, in the absence of their parents, most of these children suffer verbal abuses including words that tear their souls apart, talk less of the countless physical abuses, and even sometimes, sexual abuses, which their parents have no idea of.
Some of these little ones are even sometimes punished for the mistakes of their parents, or even out of sheer hatred for their parents, or ill treatment mattered to these caregivers.
“A caregiver is supposed to be a parent, a friend, a confidant, protector, defender and above all, a good trainer to the child, and not rather a bully. But unfortunately, most of them rather end up becoming terrorists to our children,” he bemoaned.
Rev. Annadie, passionately appealed to those parents who may not have CCT Cameras in their homes to record what goes on with their wards behind them, to also in their own tactical ways develop some secret strategies to discover what happens to their wards in their absence.
He stressed on the need for parents closely study the body mechanism, moods and changes in their wards behaviors whenever they are with them personally. He also advised on a routine medical checkups to know any health development of the child, as well as intermittent dialogue with those children who could talk, or trusted people around to help gather some necessary information about the child’s treatment with the caregiver unknowingly.
The concerned minister, as part of his submission, also advised parents who hire these caregivers to also on their own part, endeavor to treat their staffs well, and handle them with maximum care and respect, bearing it in mind that, whosoever they sew or push into the caregiver, would definitely trickle down to their own children at the end of the day.
“It is therefore very necessary for us as parents, to try and develop cordial relationships with our domestic staff, and also on the other hand, be smart to release them of their duty, as soon as they start showing any signs of hostility,” he alerted.
He also cautioned all guardians to be mindful of whatever treatment they give to these innocent children, bearing in mind that every drop of tears of these little ones is registered in heaven. And therefore When we ignore the cry of these vulnerable ones when they are in pain, we shall stand guilty before God on the day of Judgment.
In his conclusion, the Man Of God, called on the government and all concerned agencies to seriously and legally stand firm to defend the rights of these vulnerable ones without any compromise, emphasizing that the world is without future if we should lose the safety and sanity of its children today.
