In a spirit of compassion and evangelism to mark the New Year, Prophet Isaac Adu and His Prayer Team embarked on a humanitarian and spiritual outreach to inmates at the Akim Oda No. 9 Police Cells, Akim Swedru Police Cells, and Achiase Police Cells.
During the visit, Prophet Isaac Adu shared the Word of God with the inmates, prayed fervently with them, and engaged them in interactive sessions on the importance of living a Christ-like life.
He admonished the inmates to “let the mind of God be in you,” drawing from Philippians 2:5 — “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
” He emphasized the need to avoid wrongdoing and criminal activities, live peacefully, love one another, and contribute positively to the building of society.
As part of the New Year celebration, Prophet Isaac Adu and His Prayer Team donated food, drinks, and water to the inmates across the three police cells.
In all, over 40 inmates benefited from the generosity and goodwill of the ministry.
In an interview with the media, Prophet Isaac Adu explained that the outreach was inspired by the teachings of the Bible.
“The Bible entreats Christians to send the Word of God to all people,” he said. “Christ did not come for only the righteous, but for everyone, including offenders.
This act is to help reform attitudes, preach Christ, and touch lives.”
On her part, Mrs. Adu noted that the gesture was not carried out because of abundance but out of love and obedience to God.
“It is not that we have much,” she said, “but out of our little income we decided to do this.
I encourage every Christian to support such projects with any little amount.
When we come together, much can be achieved in showing love to the vulnerable.”
The outreach, held on Thursday, January 1, 2026, brought hope, encouragement, and spiritual renewal to the inmates, reinforcing the message that God’s love, forgiveness, and transformation are available to all, regardless of circumstance.
