
Hon. Eric Ahinakwa, District Chief Executive of Asene Manso Akroso District Eastern Region, has successfully commissioned several developmental projects in Mante and Akyem Appeadem.
The projects, undertaken in collaboration with Beast Philanthropy and West Akyem Cooperative Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Union Limited, aim to enhance educational infrastructure in the area.
The commissioned projects include:
– Newly constructed 4-unit classroom blocks for the JHS + 1 teacher’s office (Akyem Appeadem)
– Newly constructed 3-unit classroom for Kindergarten, including a playroom (Akyem Appeadem)
– Newly constructed unit latrines
– Newly constructed hand-washing station
– Newly constructed school kitchen
– Newly constructed borehole with overhead tank & hybrid power system
– Renovation of 6-unit primary classroom with teacher’s office (Akyem Appeadem)
– Newly constructed 3-unit block for the Primary School (Mante)
– Newly constructed 3 units KG block with playroom (Mante)
– Newly constructed and furnished 2-unit teacher’s accommodation (Mante)
– Newly constructed 6-unit latrine (Mante)
– Newly constructed hand-washing station (Mante)
– Newly constructed kitchen (Mante)
– Newly constructed borehole with an overhead tank with a hybrid power system (Mante)
– Renovated 3-unit primary block (Mante)
– Renovated JHS block and offices (Mante)
The DCE Hon. Eric Ahinakwa in his address during the commissioning stated that, “This commissioning marks a significant milestone in their efforts to improve education in Asene Manso Akroso.
We thank our partners and stakeholders for their support.
He assure the people of Mante and Akyem Appeadem that these projects will positively impact learning and community development.
Hon. Ahinakwa expressed appreciation to those involved, emphasizing education’s importance.
He urged managers to maintain the facilities, students to take education seriously, and people to join the Cocoa farmers association.
The Chairman of West Akyem Cooperative Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Union popularly know as Old Soldier stressed on maintenance culture, while Osaberima Kwabena Ofori, Akyem Akroso Chief, urged good care of facilities and enrollment.
