People who have received the divine calling of God and want to go into full time ministry have been advised to make it a need to attend a registered and recognized Bible School so as to be able to identify their specific area of calling and work to the full potential of their calling.
The advice was given by the Moderator of the Rulers Theological Seminary at Agona Swedru in the Central Region, Apostle (Dr.) Joshua Spokewel Darko during the Ordination and Graduation of Apostle James Odoom over the weekend after completing one year intensive cause with Diploma in Ministerial Ethics and Character Development.
According to the Moderator Apostle (Dr.) Joshua Spokewel Darko, though someone might have received the calling of God alright, availing one’s self to formal education through a Bible School enhances him or her to identify his or her area of calling.
According to him, obtaining a certificate alone is not enough, as the ability to know one’s area of calling is the most important thing. Established about seven years ago, the Seminary has produced over sixty ministers serving in various capacities in the ministry across the country.
He pointed out that the criteria for admission is not based on one’s educational background, but the desire and ability to work towards the calling.
