The founder of the Great Fire Tabernacle Church, Apostle Dr. Okofo Fire has attributed what he termed quark men of God in the ministry to the numerous Bible Schools in the country some of which offer three weeks of training to people who enroll in these schools and ordain them as Pastors.
He said the majority of the products from these Bible Schools are now operating business with the word of God, duping the unsuspecting public in the name of the Bible. According to him, the situation is becoming so alarming nowadays, creating a negative impression of the ministry to the outside world.
He further noted that the majority of such men of God who claim to have graduated and been ordained by a Bible School engage in activities that are in complete contradiction with the work of God.
This situation, he said, makes well-meaning members of the public look at you with second thought, at the mention that you are a man of God. According to him, with traditional spiritual churches, one need to undergo years of understudying before being ordained as a Pastor and stressed that even under such circumstance, such an ordained pastor will still be under the supervision of the church, unlike the Charismatic churches where one has the free range to operate anyhow after graduating from a so-called Bible School, without the supervision of those institutions.
