Kofi Amoa-Abban Denies Involvement in Prampram Land Dispute

Meanwhile, Kofi Amoa-Abban, a prominent businessman and owner of Kofi Abban Holdings, has issued a rejoinder in response to recent media reports falsely linking him and his company to ongoing developments surrounding a disputed 22-acre land at Prampram.

The land dispute, which has been the subject of debate, has drawn attention due to accusations involving Titanium 123 Properties and Kofi Abban Holdings.

In a statement, Amoa-Abban categorically denied any involvement in the current activities on the land, emphasizing that a court injunction currently prohibits both Titanium 123 Properties and Kofi Abban Holdings from engaging in any activities on the site.

The injunction, however, permits third-party grantees from both parties to operate on the land, a development that has led to accusations against him by Mr. Nii Kpakpo Abbosey.

Amoa-Abban expressed surprise at the accusations from Abbosey, questioning why Abbosey would assume that his grantees could operate on the land while his could not.

He also pointed out the irony of Abbosey making such claims, especially when he himself is involved in the dispute not as a third party.

“The third parties involved are acting independently of both Kofi Abban Holdings and Mr. Abbosey,” Amoa-Abban clarified, urging media outlets to avoid portraying the situation as a direct conflict between him and Abbosey.

He criticized the media for publishing sensational and defamatory stories without verifying basic facts, which he believes damages public trust in the media and institutions.

Furthermore, Amoa-Abban highlighted the serious legal issues surrounding Abbosey, who is reportedly being sought by the Ghana Police for allegedly arming land guards with illegal weapons.

He urged Abbosey to address these criminal allegations instead of using falsehoods to distract from the situation.

Amoa-Abban concluded his statement by demanding that all media outlets responsible for the misleading reports retract their stories and issue a public apology within 24 hours.

He warned that failure to comply would result in legal action to protect his reputation and that of Kofi Abban Holdings.
