The CEO of Dunkwa Area Teachers Cooperative Credit Union Mr Emmanuel Kofi Obeng, has advised the public to learn how to save in order to benefit in the future.
Speaking to Oyerepa TV in an interview after the opening of the Akyem Oda branch of the Union, he said those who have made it in life did not make it through miracles, but through hard work and savings.
He noted that if God blesses you with money, no matter how small, you can save it little by little and it will become big one day.
According to him, money is both a seed and food. If you eat it all, it will finish, but if you plant it, it will grow and yield more.
He said all the rich people we see in our society did not become rich through miracles, but through investment.
“There is no money medicine. The only way to become rich is through investment,” he said, urging all to invest, especially in rural banks, so they can become shareholders and benefit from their investments.
Akyem Kotoku Kontehene Obrempong Gyanfi Saforo Kyere, also advised staff of the bank not to be playing with their phones while customers are waiting to be served.
He further advised the bank to open branches in all parts of the Akyem Kotoku State.
