The Women’s League Board (WLB) has held a media briefing ahead of next weekend’s Sanford Women’s FA cup final match between Police Ladies and Prison Ladies.
The Board outlined the events lined up for the game which will be held at the Cape Coast Stadium.
There will be a float and health screening and rate of admission is free in Cape Coast prior to the game.
There will also be two additional news conferences in cape coast on Monday 22 and Friday 27th October.
The Sanford FA Cup trophy will be presented to the Central regional minister, then to the regional house of chiefs and will be displayed at Melcom for the general public to have a view before the game.
Speaking at the event, Team manager for Police Ladies Asomani Ansah cautioned Prisons ladies that to remember their last encounter in the Security Services Sports Association (SESSA) games.
Assistant Chief Officer Fainusatu Naomi Abdulai, the team manager of prisons ladies rebutted that “We will keep police in prison custody”.
There will be a free bus to convey the media personnel from Accra to Cape Coast.
